Save the Murray Darling
The water from the Murray Darling Basin goes into the homes of nearly three million people. Environmentalists say we have been taking out to much water and from this there is a drought. The drought started in 2008 and in 2010 a meeting called COAG (council of Australian governments) was held. They decided to put pipes under the ground to collect water which will travel to the river. They say it could be years till the plan has any effects.
